As a TRICARE®-certified sub-acute (long-term) facility for patients ages 5 to 17, Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Healthcare System is very committed to treating children and adolescents of military families across the globe.

Specialty services dedicated to our military families include:

  • Global Distance Therapy
  • Visitation via video if family is unable to attend during visitation hours
  • RTC/ TRICARE® Liaison: Mary Clary works closely with referral sources and families during referral process and during patient’s treatment at Pinnacle Pointe Hospital. She is available to assist families with travel and housing while dependents are receiving treatment at Pinnacle Pointe Hospital if needed.
  • Military Community Liaison: Elesha Granniss assists referral sources and families with the admission process, during treatment and discharge. She has established relationships with TRICARE® providers across the United States.

Acute Inpatient Care for Military Dependents: TRICARE® Approved

Pinnacle Pointe offers acute inpatient treatment for children and teens ages 5 to 17. The program is a comprehensive therapeutic, intensive treatment program led by a team of experienced mental health professionals that includes psychiatrists, case managers, clinical therapists, certified teachers, registered nurses and recreational therapists. Sub-Acute (long-term) Inpatient Care for Military Dependents: TRICARE® Certified

Our sub-acute (long-term) inpatient treatment for children and teens ages 5 to 17 is for patients with longstanding emotional and behavioral health issues. Our physician-led sub-acute (long-term) treatment program addresses children’s entire wellbeing including medical, psychiatric, social and academic needs. TeleMedicine

TeleMedicine services are available for family convenience and continuity of care across geographic borders.Our global distance family therapy is consistent with TRICARE® guidelines, offering families a new way to connect and seek treatment.
